Roger Stone is writing a book about Trump’s downfall

Roger Stone told Vanity Fair that he is writing a book called The Unmaking of the President which will detail Donald Trump’s downfall

Trump campaign adviser and conspiracy theorist Roger Stone is apparently working on a book about the downfall of the 45th president.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Stone said that he is already planning a book to be called The Unmaking of the President.

This mirrors Stone’s previous book about Donald Trump, The Making of a President, which detailed the real estate mogul’s outsider campaign in the 2016 election.

Stone told Vanity Fair that he believes FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller will bring charges against Trump, most likely on ‘some process-related matter’.

‘It’s painfully obvious,’ Stone told the magazine.

The firebrand said that he hopes he will not need to write the book, but said that Trump does not know ‘how bad things are’.

Stone also expressed dismay that certain officials in the Trump administration are criticizing him.

‘[United Nations ambassador] Nikki Haley stuck a knife in his back,’ Stone said.

Speaking on CBS’s Face the Nation, Haley had said that Trump’s sexual harassment and assault accusers – at least 18, per TIME magazine – should be ‘heard’ and ‘dealt with’.

‘I think any woman who has felt violated or felt mistreated in any way, they have every right to speak up,’ she said.

Her comments came right before Roy Moore, a Republican senate hopeful, lost to Democrat Doug Jones amid damning allegations of sexual assault.

The election marked the first time in 31 years that the Southern state elected a Democrat senator.

On the campaign trail, Stone became somewhat infamous for outlandish claims; for example, he pedaled a theory that Hillary Clinton confidant Huma Abedin had connections to terrorist networks or was a spy for Saudi Arabia.
