Saara Aalto discovered she has a SECRET BROTHER

X Factor star Saara Aalto has discovered she has a long lost brother, called Mikael, who found her after recognising their likeness on the talent show.

Following the discovery, her father confessed to a one-night stand before he met the songstress’ mother, after which a DNA test confirmed the duo were in fact half-siblings following his eagle-eyed spot during her stint on last year’s programme.

Speaking to The Sun, Saara, 30, said: ‘It is crazy. I lived in the same hometown as Mikael for 18 years but then it was being on an international TV show that brought us together’ before admitting how the show has changed her life more than ever.

Saara came second to Matt Terry in last year’s show, after which she discovered more than fame during her career-making time on the ITV programme.

In the midst of the show, she revealed her mum called her to tell her the news – which left her in shock at first but later happy as she got on with Mikael, with whom she instantly ‘gelled’.

Saara shockingly revealed she lived in the same town as her half-brother for a whopping 18 years before they finally discovered their kinship.

The news comes a month after she left Simon Cowell’s Syco label just a year after coming runner-up on The X Factor.
