Sacha Baron Cohen interview with President Trump resurfaces showing The Donald walk off the set

President Donald Trump appears to be one of the many politicians that Sacha Baron Cohen will target in his new Showtime series Who Is America?.

It will not be the first time the two have met however, with President Trump previously appearing on Cohen’s breakout program Da Ali G Show almost two decades ago in New York City.

In that episode, President Trump walked off set less than a minute into the interview with Cohen, who was trying to get the real estate scion to invest in gloves for eating ice cream.

Cohen claimed in an interview just a few years back that Trump spent about seven minutes speaking with him that day in total, which was edited down to a minute.

There is no video to support that claim, and the interview that aired on the show did not look very edited and rather as if it were shot in one take from start to finish.

‘I’ve got some business idea that I’ll  just want to tell you about and I would be  a fool if,’ begins Cohen in the interview.

Trump then asks that he tell him ‘very quickly,’ clearly pout off by the comedian’s demeanor and attire.

‘What is the most popular thing in the world?’ asks Cohen.

‘Music, replied Trump.

Cohen then says ‘no,’ promoting Trump to ask him what he believes is the most popular thing in the world.

‘Ice cream,’ replies Cohen.

‘Everyone ‘as it. And what is the problem with ice cream?’ asks Cohen.

‘I have no idea,’ responds Trump.

It drips, okay. So me idea is dat…’ begins Cohen.

‘You make a drip proof ice cream,’ says Trump cutting in, causing Cohen to pause and say that it is a good idea and he will need Trump to sign a waiver so her promises not to use it.

It was not Cohen’s idea, which he reveals is gloves to handle the ice cream.

‘Gloves that make the ice cream not go on  your hands and make it well sticky and  also keep your hands warm like when  when you iz eatin de ice cream,’ explains Cohen.

That was when Trump killed the interview.

‘Well it  sounds like a good idea and I hope you  make a lot of money,’ sys Trump.

‘Good luck folks it’s been nice seeing  you you take care of yourself okay.’
