Sean Dyche signs four-and-a-half year contract at Burnley

  • Dyche will have been at the club for 10 years if he sees out the new contract  

Sean Dyche has signed a new long-tern deal at Burnley, extending his current contract by four and a half years. 

The deal is worth £3.5 million a year and will see the 46-year-old become the highest paid employee at the club.

The boss had previously been linked with jobs away from the Clarets after his side has impressed this season.

Dyche has been at the Lancashire club since 2012 and will extend his reign to 10 years should he see out his new deal. 

The performance of his side, who now sit eighth in the Premier League, has earned Dyche his bumper pay rise. 

His back room staff have also been rewarded for their efforts with the club confirming they have also received long-tern deals.
