Yet, while the mother of one ‘hates’ the gym, she regularly swims and does boxing-style sessions, stretching and weight training for around 90 minutes, three times a week.

– The ‘windscreen wiper’ is a great waist-whittler, helping to trim the muscles at the sides of your midriff and blast away ‘love handles’. 

– Lie on your back, with your legs outstretched. Simultaneously raise both your legs off the ground, keeping your heels together.

– Straighten your legs overhead as much as you can, then lower them, first to the right (as far as is comfortable), then back up to the middle, and finally to the left. Do this again for 60 seconds. 

– Take a two-second rest, then repeat. Perform two or three sets.
