Shocking footage of two high school girls in a fistfight on campus has emerged.

The brawl took place at St Michael’s College in Adelaide’s western suburb of Henley Beach on Tuesday afternoon, during lunchtime.

In the video shown on 7 News, some students watch on in shock while others cheer them on.

Two girls were filmed in a sickening fist fight at a prestigious Adelaide high school on Tuesday

Several punches are thrown between the two year-11 girls.

They grapple as someone in the crowd says ‘oh s**t’, before they both fall to the ground.

One girl gets on top of the other and appears to punch her in the head, throwing two punches before people intervene.

Three people rush in to break up the pair, with one understood to be the boyfriend of one of the girls.

St Micheal’s College were contacted for comment on the fight and whether any suspensions have been handed down.

The school is understood to be a private Catholic college, with annual fees of more than $9,200.

Other students did say that the girls weren’t present for afternoon classes on Tuesday.
