Simon Cowell tips Mandy Harvey to win America’s Got Talent

Simon Cowell quietly predicted Wednesday that Mandy Harvey will win America’s Got Talent.

The 57-year-old music mogul was so impressed that he couldn’t offer any advice to Mandy as she sailed through to next week’s finale.

‘I don’t need to tell Mandy anything, because she’s got this all worked out. …You’ve got a real shot,’ he told the 29-year-old Ohio resident, who flawlessly sang and used sign language for her Tuesday night performance of Release Me.

Eleven acts hit the stage for just five places in the finals next week.

Three acts were placed in danger at the start of Tuesday’s show: Scottish ‘mind reader’ Colin Cloud, dance act Diavolo and singer Kechi Okwuchi, who survived a plane crash with severe burns.

The public were given the opportunity to save one of the three and they chose Kechi.

‘This is unbelievable, thank you guys so much,’ beamed the 27-year-old Houston resident.

‘You are probably one of the strongest human beings I have ever witnessed. You are a survivor, beautiful, you are a fighter and you’re true to yourself, just do you, that is what America is falling in love with,’ yelled Howie Mandel.

Colin Cloud and Diavolo were left in the final two, leaving the judges to pick.

Simon, Mel B and Howie gave their votes to Diavolo, meaning Heidi Klum’s vote wasn’t needed as Diavolo advanced to the finals.

The judges read out some comical audience tweets including one that criticized Heidi’s ‘hand binoculars’ as ‘ridiculous’.

‘It blocks the light,’ protested the 44-year-old former supermodel.

Howie, 61, was compared to Lex Luthor and Simon was called ‘soft’.
