Simon Halep is through to the Australian Open fourth round after beating unseeded American Lauren Davis in three sets.
World No 1 Halep suffered a scare in the first set when she lost 6-4. She responded in great fashion, however, winning the second set 6-4.
The match went to a third set with both players making it to 6-6. But from that point Halep wasn’t going to lose. It may have been tough but she eventually won the third set 15-13/
