Peter once said that his famously toned body began to change once he hit his 30s, but while competing on Strictly Come Dancing two years ago, he started to regain his fitness.
At the time, he said of the gruelling rehearsals: ‘I am exactly the same weight I was 20 years ago in my Mysterious Girl video – it’s unbelievable. I am not complaining. When you do the show, you can eat what you want.
‘It is the only time you feel guilt-free at eating what you want.’
