‘Swerve of the century!’: Young star racer, 20, awkwardly rejected by derby model he tried to kiss after winning Florida race

An overjoyed racer who had just won his race at a Florida speedway tried to seal his victory with a kiss, but it didn’t turn out quite how he expected.
Noah Gragson, 20, came first in the the 51st annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola on Sunday.
But he got too carried when he tried to steal a smooch with the Snowball Derby model, Helena Ciappina.

In the brief clip, Gragson can be seen leaning towards the model in a bid to plant a hefty kiss on her face.
But the model is quick, swerving out of the way to avoid the awkward encounter.
Gragson manages to kiss her cheek before the quick clip cuts.
‘Swerve of the century. Congrats @NoahGragson,’ said fellow racer Corey LaJoie.
But Gragson was a good sport about the taunting, posting a photo of his large trophy.
Luckily for Gragson, he was eventually able to score big. A later video shows him nabbing a peck with the model.
Ciappina received her new title as Miss Snowball Derby in Pensacola on Thursday.
