Suge Knight’s fiancee thrown in jail for three years

Suge Knight’s fiancee has been given three years in jail on Friday for violating a probation linked to the rap mogul’s murder trial.

Toi-Link Kelly, 37, was found to have violated a court order limiting jailhouse phone communications between he and others, found Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Douglas Sortino.

The 52-year-old was trying to arrange interviews with producers from a Death Row Records documentary in the works with BET.

Toi-Lin – who had just taken a plea deal – was also found to have indirectly reached out to Knight via a private investigator, which also was in violation of her October probation.

‘To me it’s pretty blatant, and frankly, jaw-dropping,’ Sortino said, according to the New York Daily News.

He added that Kelly’s actions were a slap in the face for the probation he gave her.

Kelly was accused of selling video footage in association with Knight’s murder trial to TMZ for $55,000. The recording had been ordered not to be shared with media.

She pleaded no contest to conspiring to violate a court order back in October and was ordered to pay $55,000 in restitution. Kelly was also made to serve five years probation in addition to 100 hours of community service.

Kelly called the arrest ‘humbling’ and ‘humiliating’ on Friday while reading from a letter in court.

She added that her eight-year-old son would have no one to look after him with both Kelly and Knight in jail.

Kelly added that her Father died of cancer in December.

Knight’s inner circle has fallen under pressure with two of his lawyer’s also getting arrested and soon released.

Kelly’s troubles grew when investigators found that Knight had been in talks with two journalist from jail.

He is not to make any calls to folks that are not his attorneys under a 2016 court order. It was revealed he was using other inmates’ phone codes to make calls, according to testimony by sheriff’s Sgt Richard Biddle on Friday.

Text messages shown in court detailed Kelly placing money in these inmates’ books which prosecutors said were used to help Knight make the calls.

Kelly had also been emailing filmmakers and coaching them how to get in contact with Knight.

The judge also found that text between Kelly and defense-hired private investigator, Tony Moore, were used to relay info between Kelly and Knight.

Her plea agreement was to not contact him.

Moore was on his cellphone while in the courtroom and had to be evicted.

Kelly’s attorney, James Drake, argued that the prosecution was targeting Kelly because of Knight’s alleged crime. He added that his client wasn’t fully comprehending her contact orders.

Sortino felt that wasn’t the case, however.

‘I was born at night, but not last night, Mrs. Kelly,’ he said.
