The weekend’s wet weather continued this morning, with Sydney suburbs copping up to 105mm of rain from 9am on Sunday to 9am on Monday.

Over the 24-hour period Randwick had 91mm, Rose Bay had 89mm, Manly had 80mm while Little Bay took the crown with 105mm of rainfall.

‘The rain will be heavy at times this week,’ he said.

He said they are not expecting hail like last Thursday’s storm but ‘there is still a chance of storms throughout the week’.

Mr Otara said ‘storms have the potential to be gusty’ and predicts winds of up to 20 kilometres per hour.
