Julian, who was a fan of superhero Iron Man, was separated from his mother Jom during the van attack on Las Ramblas in central Barcelona last month.

He was one of 13 victims killed in the terrorist attack.

Speaking to 9 News, St Bernadette’s principal Phillip Kapitanow said Julian was a typical seven year old.

‘He loved dressing up with his mates, just having a great time and enjoying life,’ she said.

Students at the school said they would always ‘remember Julian’s positivity.’

A Gofundme campaign has been set up to raise money for Julian’s mother Jom who was critically injured in the attacks.

Over $250,000 has been raised so far.
