A stalker who broke into Taylor Swift’s New York City townhouse in April will be sentenced next month to six months in prison.

Roger Alvarado, 22, pleaded guilty to attempted burglary and criminal contempt on Friday, according to TMZ.

The gossip site reported in the spring that Alvarado broke into the SoHo townhouse owned by the pop singer, who was not present at the time.

Alvarado was spotted climbing a ladder and smashing a window with his hand to gain access to the residence.

From there, he proceeded to take a shower and hunker down in a bed before police, who were called by a witness, took him into custody.

Alvarado was charged with stalking, burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

He is will be formally sentenced December 20. 

Alvarado, who is from Homestead, Florida, will serve five years probation in the state and also undergo mental heath treatment.

He was arrested previously at the same property in February, when he tried to break in the front door with the help of a shovel. 

Though it is obviously troubling, a source told TMZ that Taylor never actually lived in the home prior to the break-in incident – which she acquired in late 2017 for $18million.

It’s not surprising, as the townhouse is located right next to her monolithic penthouse, which she purchased from Peter Jackson back in 2014.
