A teenager who claims she was stabbed with a date rape needle has revealed her horror after waking up in a nightclub bathroom unable to move or speak. 

Shayna, 18, was celebrating her birthday at the Universal Bar in Northbridge, Perth, on Friday when she felt someone grab her arm as she was walking to the bathroom. 

‘I felt a scratch and then a needle shoot in me and I felt burning in my arm. When I yanked my arm away there was a blood spot,’ she told 7 News.

Shayna, who had a blood alcohol level of 0.00, entered the bathroom and suddenly collapsed.

She claims she was not able to move or ask for help. 

‘I could see everything around me. I could hear everything around me but I could not move a muscle,’ Shayna said.  

She was taken to hospital and is waiting for tests to reveal whether she contracted any diseases from a dirty needle. 

Police with the help of Universal Bar owners are investigating the incident. 

On Friday, a man arrived to Royal Perth Hospital also saying he had been stabbed in the arm while walking near the WA Museum. 

Another teenage girl was taken to hospital on Saturday claiming a similar incident happened to her at The Court Hotel.
