Teen’s mother orders him to open his bong in front of her

One of the best thing about online shopping is being able to keep your purchases private. However, as one teen learned the hard way, you can’t always guarantee your deliveries will go unnoticed when you still live with your mother.

A hilarious video of a kid being forced to open the bong he ordered online in front of his probing mom has gone viral, leaving many amused by his mock insistence that there must have been some sort of mix-up.

The clip, which has been shared on multiple YouTube channels, appears to have been originally posted on Snapchat by the teen’s amused sibling, who wrote: ‘LMFAO when your brother orders a bong and your mom’s [sic] wants to see him open it.’

The short 50-second video begins with the teen’s mom hovering over him while he opens the package he received.

‘I have no idea what this is,’ he says as he takes out the bubble-wrapped bong and turns it upside down.

‘Is this something for…’ his mom says, her voice trailing off before she can finish her thought. ‘I have no idea,’ he interjects.

Unfortunately for the teen, his mother isn’t backing down so easily, and her curiosity is starting to get the best of her.

‘Well then give it to me. Let me see what it is,’ she says while trying to grab the wrapped bong from her son’s hands.

The kid turns way from his mother and tells her he is trying to see what it is.

He lamely attempts to throw her off the scent by claiming it is a vase — without actually opening it in front of her.

‘It looks just like a big metal vase. Look,’ he says. ‘It has like a glass bottom. It’s like a vase. Look.’

The mom tells him to open it, leaving him desperately trying to keep up the charade that it is a vase.

‘I’m opening it. Chill! It just looks like a vase for like a bunch of like things,’ he says while tearing off the bubble wrap.

Claiming innocence: When his mom announces that it is a bong, her son feigns confusion and says: 'What the frick?'

‘It’s a bong,’ his mom says while reaching for it.

At this point, he figures his best bet is just feigning confusion.

‘What the frick? What the heck? I didn’t order that,’ he says. ‘I ordered an XBox card… [I mean] an XBox remote.

‘This is a bong,’ his mom replies.

‘Oh wow. I did not order that,’ her son insists.

The clip ends with the mom warning her kids not to take a picture of the bong.

The video has been viewed nearly two million times on the Avocado YouTube channel since it was posted on Wednesday, and people can’t stop quoting the teen in the comments section of the post.

‘Officially THEE worst liar in the world,’ one person wrote.
