Tess Holliday snaps airport selfie in ‘Dump Trump’ T-shirt

Tess Holliday has never been shy when it comes to protesting the man currently in the nation’s highest office.

So, when she found herself travelling to the city Donald Trump calls home, she decided to make a typically bombastic entrance by donning a T-shirt reading: ‘Respect women, dump Trump.’

She then shared her stance with her followers by snapping a bathroom selfie at LAX airport before her flight – presumably to Washington D.C. – and posting it on Instagram.

‘Going to the home of Ole’ Donny & just showing my “respect,”‘ she wrote in the caption.

Tess is frequently vocal online about her feelings when it comes to Donald Trump, including speaking out against the president over his recent comments about fault on ‘both sides’ in the Charlottesville clashes between white nationalists and counter-protesters.

When she isn’t putting POTUS on blast, the 32-year-old mom is praising her husband Nick Holliday on Instagram, having recently shared a beautiful black and white photo of her and  Nick watching their one-year-old son Bowie Juniper cuddling up to his older brother Rylee, Tess’ 11-year-old son from a previous relationship.

‘Eternally grateful for this little family of mine,’ she captioned the image. ‘[Nick] & I are proud to be raising boys that will respect everyone regardless of their size, gender, race, sexual orientation, physical & mental abilities.

‘They will understand that love is love, their bodies are to do with what they choose & yes, they are little feminists,’ she added. ‘Let’s face it, we need more people in the world to give a f**k about each other. #momofboys#effyourbeautystandards.’

The mom, who frequently uses her platform to advocate for body positivity and LGBT rights, appeared on Popsugar’s YouTube series Pour Decisions With Candace earlier this month to offer advice to fans who are struggling to love their bodies.

While sharing a glass of red wine with the show’s host, Candace Lowry, Tess recalled how there have been plenty of guys who told her they weren’t into her because of her weight.

The plus-size model, who hasn’t spoken to her own father in four years because he used to shame her for her size, admitted that her experiences with men made her believe that she was never going to find someone who loved her — and her body.

‘I am a size 22, and I never thought that I would find somebody,’ she said. ‘I found somebody that loves my body and tells me all the time, and [he] constantly makes people feel uncomfortable because he touches my butt and other parts of my body in public.’

Proving her point, Nick recently shared stunning photos of Tess braless and wearing a low-cut tank top that showed off her cleavage.

‘I don’t love my wife in spite of her being fat. I don’t love her because she is fat either. I just love her,’ he wrote, using the hashtags #nomakeup #nobra #bombhairthough #effyourbeautystandards.

Tess is known for sharing plenty of racy photos of herself on Instagram, and during her chat with Candace she stressed that you can ‘take super hot photo’ when you are a size 20 or larger.

She noted that doing so helped her start to embrace her own body and become more confident.

It was her newfound confidence and her ability to inspire other women that initially attracted Nick to her and prompted him to reach out to her on Tumblr in 2012.

Although Nick loves her body and has no issue with being smaller than his wife, Tess said their size difference still attracts online trolls who cruelly ask her how Nick doesn’t die when she has sex with him.

‘We have sex all the time, and he doesn’t die, and he could still breathe,’ she said.

When it comes to her own body image, Tess admitted that she has moments of insecurity just like anyone else, explaining that their have been times that she used self-deprecating humor and make fun of herself just to make other people feel better — which she stressed is ‘not OK’.

The Instagram star noted that she has even stopped being friends with some people because of the negative self-talk that they did.

‘I have moments where I don’t want to show my arms sometimes, or I feel weird about shorts,’ she said. ‘Because I like short shorts and then they end up usually looking like denim underwear because they just lost somewhere in there.’
