Texas deputies drag woman through window of burning home 

  • Panola County Sheriff’s Office deputies saved a woman’s life on Monday 
  • Bodycam footage shows deputies responding to a house fire around 1.30am
  • They are seen running up to the home where two men are screaming for help 
  • Officers then climb throught the home’s bedroom window to help the woman 
  • She was lying unconscious on floor, but deputies lifted her up and out window 
  • It’s unclear what caused the fire, but officials are still investigating the cause  

Bodycam footage captured the moment Texas deputies saved a woman’s life by pulling her through the window of a burning home.

Panola County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an early morning fire on Monday around 1.30am. Firefighters were also notified but the deputies responded first.

When officers arrived, they immediately raced over to the home. ‘Hello. Hello,’ one officer is heard in the video yelling as he checked the front of the home.

‘Help! Right here!’ a man was heard yelling as he directed the deputies over to a bedroom window. 

The woman was lying on the floor unconscious as one of the deputies climbed through the window.

Flames are seen shooting from the side of the home as the homeowner is heard saying: ‘Help him get a hold of her.’ 

‘Please help her,’ the homeowner, who is believed to be the woman’s husband, is heard saying over and over again. 

Another officer then climbed through the window to help the first officer. 

One officer pulls her closer to the window as the other deputy prepares to lift her up.

But out of nowhere, one of the deputies notices the family’s unconcious dog. They are seen rescuing the dog and passing it through the window. 

‘Y’all gone have to hurry!’ the neighbor yells as oneofficer puts the dog on the ground.

The deputies are then seen picking the woman up and passing her out the window to a third deputy who had just arrived at the scene.  

It’s unclear what caused the fire, but authorities are investigating the incident.
