The fake profile belonged to someone claiming to be a 27-year-old researcher and social worker for a charity.

It also stated that he is an Australian Catholic University graduate, who enjoys mai tai.

‘Message me for more straight talk, and I’ll send you FB links, photos of science fair trophies, and much MUCH more…,’ the account states.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Matty J for comment.

Matty’s Bachelorette 2016 co-star Cameron Cranley, 28, was spotted on Bumble earlier this year.

However, he denied having a profile on the app, telling Daily Mail Australia: ‘I’ve heard nothing but good things about the app, but I’m still all for meeting someone the old-fashioned way.’
