The ultimate children’s playhouse costs $44,000 and was designed to replicate a homeowners house

This luxurious playhouse, that was designed and built to match the homeowner’s existing home, could be every child’s ultimate Christmas gift – that is if you’re willing to dish out a whopping $44,681.

The miniature house – which was custom-built by a company based in Mansfield, Texas, has its own living room, play-kitchen and porch area, complete with flower boxes in the windows.

And the exterior of the house is even more impressive with a rock-climbing wall, a 10ft slide and a swing set.

Outstanding: The children’s playhouse was created by Wish to Play, and cost approximately $44,600

Images show the exterior of the miniature house with a porch as well as an attached play area with a rock climbing wall and 10ft slide.

Other shots show the interior including 10x12ft living area, a screened sand box area to keep mosquitoes out and plenty of storage space with sofas to relax on.

The fantastic children’s playhouse was built by Wish to Play for a customer, but they can build other modular playhouses for between roughly $8,000 to $10,000.

Brian Grossman of Wish to Play said: ‘This playhouse was designed to similarly match the homeowner’s existing home and guest house.

‘The customer has two grandchildren and thought this would be a great place for them to play outside yet not be an eyesore for the neighborhood and blend into the existing decor around the property.

‘The living area is roughly 10’x12′ and includes pre-finished ship lap siding, electrical, HVAC, insulation, hardwood floors and tongue & groove decking on exposed rafters. The wall height is six foot tall but since the ceiling is vaulted, when you walk in, it feels very large.’

Brian added that there is also a screened in sand box area, that was designed to repel mosquitoes and keep them away from children while they play.

He said: ‘Then there is a two tiered pergola that is roughly 12’x12′ with a rock wall, and 10’ tube slide coming off it. There is a separate back stair that goes up to the pergola if you do not want to climb up the rock wall.

‘These stairs also go the opposite direction of the pergola over to a smaller five foot slide for smaller kids. There is also a large ‘A’ frame swing set attached to one of the columns of the pergola with three swings attached.

‘We ran some trees up through the pergola to the second floor to give it a tree house feel. We added cedar siding with stain to match the house, cultured stone and brick to imitate the existing house as well. I designed and built this structure in about six weeks.’

Wish to Play has built 12 playhouses for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for free. The company aims to donate one playhouse to the charity for every 10 modular playhouses or five custom playhouses they build and sell.

Brian said: ‘This company was built and designed to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation because we could see the lives it has changed and wanted to do more.

A great cause: Wish to Play often teams up with the Make-A-Wish foundation. For every 10 modular playhouses or five custom playhouses they build and sell the company aims to donate a playhouse to the charity

‘So we have since started building modular playhouses, in addition to custom playhouses. And our whole sales model is based on for every 10 modular playhouses, or five custom playhouses we build/sell, one playhouse gets donated to a wish kid from Make-A-Wish.

‘It is like the Tom’s Shoes model but with playhouses, a company for a cause.

‘We are actually only about three or four months in on this company and are getting ready to start marketing these modular playhouses as well as the custom ones.

‘The modular playhouses are 8’x12′ and come in 18 pieces that are pre-finished in our shop ready for install by you or a local contractor.’
