A heartless thief has broken into an Ipswich home through a disabled 11-year-old girl’s bedroom window and stolen her wrapped presents.

Cadence Arnold and her single father Daniel are gutted that their Christmas time, which is normally full of joy and excitement, has been turned on its head.

‘Just the invasion,’ Daniel told 7 News. ‘It’s going to take a lot for her to get through it.’

The pair arrived home to find all of the gifts that were wrapped under the tree had disappeared.

‘I was like where are all the presents? Where are all the presents,’ Cadence said.

An offender had broken in through the 11-year-old’s bedroom window, took all of her pocket and then the presents.

The adorable youngster said she couldn’t understand how people could be so mean and cruel.

Cadence has Asperger’s which causes anxiety and it has been hard for her, now too scared to sleep in her own bed.

Daniel cares for his beautiful daughter on his own and is also her full time carer.

An iPod she uses to get to sleep was also taken and the thief used a tacky sheet to carry the loot.

Her father says that they will still have a great Christmas, with or without the presents, as it is not all about the gifts that matters.

The offender entered through the 11-year-old girl's window before making off with his loot in a sack
