Police used a tracking device in the machine and located it in the area at 5th Street and SE 10th Avenue, CBS Miami reported.

The forklift appears to have been stolen from just a couple hundred feet away where a nearby McDonald’s has been undergoing renovations.

The fast food restaurant’s surveillance cameras were not in operation at the time because of the construction.

Investigators from the Hialeah Police Department and Miami-Dade police processed the scene for evidence.
