His wife Dana and daughter Adria Petty released the results of his autopsy via a statement on his website and on his Facebook page on Friday.
The official cause of death was ruled as ‘multi-system failure’ caused by accident drug toxicity, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner via Dailymail.com.
He had several prescribed medications in his system, including fentanyl, oxycodone, temazepam, alprazolam, citalopram and acetylfentanyl, the coroner’s office revealed.
Tom had been on tour while dealing with a fractured hip, which worsened and led to a total break; he also had emphysema and a knee problems, his family said.
Before his passing, the singer had put the home on the market for $5.895.

The home is located close to the exclusive Sherwood Country Club in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Thousand Oaks.
