Top vlogger Chloe Morello shares her top anti jet-lag beauty routine

While a holiday and a bit of time away from your 9 to 5 can work wonders for your complexion, the flights and long-distance travel required to get to many far-flung destinations can often promote the opposite.

But if your skin is more lacklustre than luminous, there is a way you can beat the jet-lag – with makeup.

Recently, top YouTube blogger Chloe Morello took a look at how to get your skin glowing – by sharing her anti jet-lag routine.

Here, FEMAIL takes a look at her top tips.

'This is how you should look when coming back from a holiday, but no one does because we're all jet-lagged,' Chloe said in her video - as she applied face masks and eye creams to combat the jet-lag (pictured)

2. Pixi Glow 02 Oxygen Mask.

3. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask.

4. Lanolips.

5. Patchology’s Eye Revive Patches.

6. Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream.

When Chloe shot the clip, she had just flown from Italy to France, from France to London, London to Singapore and Singapore to Sydney.

‘The first thing I did was wash my hair and have a shower,’ Chloe explained. ‘I put on the James Read Express Glow Face Mask, which has been on for two hours.’

Even though she’d been on holiday, Chloe said her skin needed this as she will never allow her face to tan on holiday.

‘Next, the best product to wake my skin up is the Pixi Glow 02 Oxygen mask,’ she said. ‘It rubs on as a gel and then foams up and tingles. It feels very refreshing.’

After around ten minutes, you can then remove the mask to showcase smooth skin.

Next, Chloe recommends a second face mask – the Summer Fridays jet lag mask, which helps to make the skin more ‘plump’.

‘I also take my Lanolips and use it as a lip mask,’ she said.

Speaking about how she tackles her eyes – which can easily become puffy after being on an airplane for a long period of time – Chloe said she’ll use Patchology’s Eye Revive little clear patches, which she keeps in her fridge.

‘All this stuff might seem a little over the top for an anti jet-lag tutorial, but I really do do all this stuff when I get off a long flight,’ Chloe said.

Finally, on the skincare side of things, the beauty blogger applied Banana Bright Eye Cream by Ole Henriksen.

‘This helps with anti-ageing and has brightening pigment, so it’s perfect for applying before makeup,’ she said.

When it comes to makeup, Chloe’s anti jet-lag regime is no less detailed.

After starting with Benefit’s PoreFessional Pore Minimising Makeup, she’ll use the MAC Studio Finish concealer palette to cover over any extra blemishes, adding Becca’s Under Eye Brightening Corrector.

‘The No Eyeshadow Eyeshadow by Perricone is also great,’ she said. ‘It’s such a barely-there product, you can hardly see the effects of it. But it has a little luminosity and is good for your skin as it has skincare in it.’

On her brows, Chloe swears by the Benefit Precisely My Brow pencil, and Benefit’s Ready Set Brow – which is a clear gel formula that helps to make your eyebrows look more bushy.

Chloe finishes her look off with Smashbox’s Always on Gel eyeliner in Fishnet, Estee Lauder’s Double Wear liner in pearl – a neutral colour – for her waterline, and Clinique’s Full to Flutter mascara.

‘I’m going to focus on the base of the lashes and fade out towards the ends, so it doesn’t look too full and obviously done,’ she said.

Then, she highlights with the Touch in Sol Very Useful Makeup Boomer, and wears Wet n Wild’s lipstick in Pampered in Pink and Benefit’s Posy tint on the cheeks.

While Chloe’s regime might seem complex, the end results look so natural they emulate a post-holiday glow.
