Transgender woman Cloe Earle reveals cancer and rape

This is the incredible life of a woman who was born a man, diagnosed with leukaemia, and gang raped by a group of men she met on Tinder.

Chloe Jessica Earle, formerly known as Clinton, was five years old when she knew she was different, and 20 years old when she started her transition to become a woman.

She was also 20 years old when she was diagnosed with leukaemia.

‘I just started feeling really tired when I first started my hormones, I assumed it was just a side-effect,’ she said.

Chloe was a young 20-year-old Australian woman, living as a man called Clinton when she decided to have a sex change.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Chloe said she made the drastic decision after planning her own funeral.

‘I paid for a funeral plan, I was so close to suicide, that’s when I knew I needed to do something,’ she said.

When Chloe, a registered nurse, started hormone treatment, her relationships with friends and family broke down.

‘My twin stopped speaking to me for a fair while because he was grieving the loss of Clinton,’ she said.

‘I lost my family, social circle, my job, and my health was depleting at the same time.’

‘Mum came into my bedroom, saw me and ended up going into cardiac arrest due to the stress,’ Chloe said (pictured left before her transition and right afterwards)

Chloe’s transition impacted her mother so severely, she almost died in front of her.

‘Mum came into my bedroom, saw me and ended up going into cardiac arrest due to the stress,’ Chloe said.

‘Luckily I was able to bring her back to life.’

While she found the transition difficult, Chloe said her mother was her ‘hero’ and remained her greatest supporter from beginning to end.

‘When I told her I was going to have a sex change, she said “you’ve always been a girl”,’ Chloe said.

‘She grieved the loss of Clinton yes, but she’s been my tower of strength from the beginning.’

‘No one knew I was going through chemo because I would hide in a hotel for two days after each treatment,’ she said.

‘It was really hard because my family thought I looked so sick because I was going out partying every week.

‘I kept it secret because I didn’t want them to think I was making the diagnosis up for attention.’

Chloe revealed she also hid the truth from herself.

‘I started feeling really tired,’ she said.

‘I kept telling myself it was just side-effects from the hormones, but I started bruising and getting really bad nose bleeds.

At the same time as secretly dealing with a leukaemia diagnosis, Chloe faced relentless bullying.

‘I got my nose broken, I got hate mail, our house was egged, all because I was transitioning,’ she said.

She also overheard people say “don’t sit near it, it’s got aides” when she was going through chemotherapy.

Chloe also revealed she lost a huge number of her friends.

‘A year-and-a-half into my transition, my friend of 27 years told me I needed to go back to being Clinton. When I told her I couldn’t, she blocked me and hasn’t spoken to me since,’ she said.

‘I lost my support group, I was really, really lonely.’

Years into her transition, the abuse continued.

Chloe revealed she was violently raped by a man she met on dating app, Tinder.

‘I went to this man’s apartment and didn’t realise there were six guys in another room. They drugged, chained me to the gates of a dump and violently raped me,’ she said.

‘They shoved a sawn-off shotgun into my bowel.’

Chloe said the men left her for dead.

‘When a lady found me at 10pm, my heartbeat was at nine beats per minute, I almost died,’ she said.

Years later, Chloe said she didn’t feel sorry for herself, but instead, felt stronger.

‘I’m not someone that says “boohoo, poor me” now I look at life saying “f***ing try me!” she said.

‘It takes a lot of balls to do what I’ve done.’

Now a self-confident woman, Chloe said she still faced daily challenges because she was transgender.

‘Men want to f*** you but they don’t want to date you,’ she said.

‘They only see you as a sexual person.’

Chloe revealed one of her biggest upsets was realising she would never have her own children.

Despite the challenges, she said she had no regrets.

‘It’s such a hard process to go through, but now my exterior matches my interior and I wake up each day wanting to be alive.’

Chloe also said she didn’t harbour any ill-will for who she used to be.

‘I’m not ashamed of Clinton, he’s still a very big part of my life. He helped me get to where I am now.’
