  • The former world heavyweight champion has called out at Tony Bellew again
  • Bellew responded saying that he hits harder and moves quicker than Fury

Tyson Fury continued his war of words with Tony Bellew, accusing the ‘Bomber’ of ducking big fighters.

Former heavyweight world champions Fury called out the Liverpool fighter initially last month after Bellew’s fight with David Haye was postponed by the latter’s bicep injury.

Bellew responded to being called a ‘chump’ by Fury by saying the ‘Gypsy King’ resembled Britain’s Got Talent dancer Michalakis Demetriou of Stavros Flatley.

With Fury back in the gym and looking for comeback fight, albeit currently doing so with a boxing licence, he and Bellew have gone at it again on Twitter.

Bellew’s rematch with Haye now has a new a date but Fury criticised the former cruiserweight for not chasing fights with bigger heavyweights such as Anthony Joshua.

Fury wrote: ‘Don’t know why @TonyBellew keep wanting to fight me, as he got stopped by a light heavyweight in [Adonis Stevenson] never mind a giant like me. Sad state of mind!’

Adding: ‘[Bellew] says he is to small to fight the big heavyweights 6″3 & 15 stone. But what’s not big enough is his heart and nuts as there has been many before you smaller than u!!!’

To which Bellew replied: ‘You called my name first Dyson, Sorry Tyson.. I was just cracking on! I looked like this when I was fighting him also just so you know.. Only 4 stone heavier now mate’. The post was accompanied by a picture of the 35-year-old back in 2013.’

Fury hit back, replying: ‘I’ve had enough of your nonsense, s*** bag! U won’t fight [Anthony Joshua] as your scared but if Haye beats u! He will so what’s that say.?’

The conversation continued, with Bellew saying: ‘That says he’s a fantasist and I’m a realist that’s what it says to me! As for you on the other hand, I believe I can beat you.. I 100% know I hit harder than you! I’m quicker than you! Only question for me is? How much can you take?’

As the conversation continued it became more civil. Fury asked: ‘What makes you think u can beat me seriously as I’m intrigued? Sensible convo? Is it my time out the ring? Or my weight?’

Fury, who has not fought since 2015, has been training in the gym alongside Ricky Hatton

With Bellew’s response: ‘Seriously? A bit of both add to the fact that your not a puncher and you’ve also never boxed anyone who can make you miss for fun.. All jokes aside, Cunningham dropped you flat on your back when you was 100% on it! I hit harder than him so what can I do? Styles make fights lad.’

Fury came back again: ‘You have a 59% ko rating compared to my 72% so that being said I hit much harder than u may think, but I see your point about Cunningham! Well there’s only 1 way to find out pal! Get past the faker then u got your fight.’ Before adding: ‘good luck with your next fight, hopefully we both get our stuff sorted & can give the boxing fans a good fight sometime. All love and kisses see you soon’.

Bellew then hinted at a possible meeting should he beat Haye: ‘Thank you. I only wish well! Your a man of your word so hopefully we can get this over line. Very best of luck with your training and prep going forward.. ps. Any chance of putting that fur coat on the line with the belt when we fight? cos I swear I love that coat lad’.
