Speaking to Press Association about what prompted her to turn her pet pooch into a Dunder Mifflin Paper Company employee, owner Paulina Lang, 25, revealed that she believes 17-month old Enzo shares similar qualities to Steve Carell’s character.

‘Enzo is unquestionably like Michael Scott,’ she said.

‘He wants everything to revolve around him and is an attention seeker – and when people aren’t paying attention to him he’ll act pretty goofy to get them to notice him.’

Paulina and her husband Matthew who are living in California have been making videos with Enzo since he was a puppy and she described him as ‘surprisingly’ compliant.

‘I try and keep filming sessions short when I make skit videos so that Enzo finds it fun and so that he doesn’t tire out,’ Paulina explained

‘Filming takes no more than 30 minutes. Editing takes a few hours.

‘I’ve taught him a few cues to make it easier for him to understand where I want him to be, which makes the filming process go a lot smoother.

‘If I need to make an adjustment in where I want him, I’ll re-position him and tell him to stay.’

She also described his as ‘goofy’ but also ‘very smart’ and detailed that he picks up tricks quickly and learns to adapt to situations well.

And with over 110,000 Instagram followers, the video has already gone viral with The Office fans.
