Viscountess Weymouth says that her two sons mean she’s ‘always cooking’

She may be married to one of the South West’s richest men but that has not let the Viscountess of Weymouth escape domestic duties.

Emma McQuiston, 32, says she spends so much time in the kitchen she now refers to herself as a ‘cookie-making machine’.

Speaking to the Evening Standard the former model explained that her two boys, John, three and Henry, 18 months, often finish the snacks so quickly she has to immediately make more.

In an interview with the paper she said: ‘I’m always cooking and can be found in the kitchen rustling up something for myself and the boys.

‘They love cookies and I’m constantly baking them for them. I’m like a cookie-making machine sometimes — they go so quickly and I have to make more

She describes her youngest as a ‘champion eater’ revealing that his first steps were towards a bowl of buttercream icing she had whipped up.

However, the wife of Ceawlin Thynn, Viscount of Weymouth, insists that she is a firm believer of everything in moderation.

Emma, who now runs her own company Emma’s kitchen, has always been passionate about cooking previously revealing her dream is to be the presenter of a cookery show.

She trained as an actress for a year at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and said she ‘was nearly cast for Game of Thrones’, but previously said that she thinks she is a ‘better fit’ for presenting because of her ‘unique look’.

She married Ceawlin in 2013 with the couple celebrating their anniversary on Friday.

Ceawlin, is heir to the 7th Marquess of Bath and will one day own the Longleat Estate in Wiltshire.

Emma divides her time between London and the Longleat estate in Wiltshire, where she trades the sound of traffic noise for the calls of lions, sea lions and wolves outside her window.

Longleat is the only drive-through safari park outside of Africa – and Emma lives in the Elizabethan house in its grounds, which are open to the public all year round.

‘Not in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be living in a safari park! It’s a bit Disney, [but] I feel so lucky and happy to be where I am, I need to pinch myself,’ she previously said.

Viscountess Weymouth had the couple’s first child, the Honourable John Alexander Ladi Thynn, in October 2014.

In December 2016 they welcomed his little brother, the Honourable Henry Richard Isaac Thynn, via surrogate at a private clinic in West Hollywood.

The couple revealed at the time that their choice of surrogacy was the result of a terrifying brain illness suffered by Emma during her first pregnancy in 2014, which prompted doctors to warn that having a second child could kill her.
