A woman who tried to recreate some of Kylie Jenner’s most liked Instagram pictures has revealed that impersonating the star and her seemingly-simple selfies is a lot harder than it looks.
Sarai Jones, 20, from Washington, took to her YouTube channel to explain that while most people might think taking flawless snaps that garner millions of likes is an easy job, it really isn’t.
‘This shall be interesting, they’re probably not going to be as good as hers, lets be real, Walmart vs Chanel,’ she told the camera.

Admitting that the video was a lot harder than she thought it was going to be, Sarai shared that she felt ‘crappy’ about herself afterwards.
She added: ‘How does she do it? How does she take these pictures?’
Preparing for her experiment, Sarai visited a wig store to pick up a long black wig, similar to Kylie’s natural hair color.
And she then started to compile her outfit for her first shot.
Picking a photo of Kylie wearing a white oversize hoody and white heels while sitting on a bed, Sarai explained that she wouldn’t be using the wig for the shot as Kylie’s hair is in a low bun.
Donning a patterned hoody, Sarai explained that she would edit it out in post production to achieve the same plain design as worn by Kylie, and finished off her look by teaming the hoody with a pair of white heeled boots.

‘We’re going to work with what she got,’ she explained.
Posing at the end of her bed, Sarai’s boyfriend took the shots of her and the finished result looked almost identical to Kylie’s original.
However, for her second shot, she put on the wig and said she felt she looked like ‘The Grudge’.
Heading outdoors, Sarai waited until some clouds appeared in the background and posed in a cropped hoody, grey track pants and oversize reflective sunglasses while sipping from an iced coffee.
Her third shot also featured the wig, but involved Sarai posing indoors against a wall in a kneeling squat position.
‘How does she do this, she must have a professional poser,’ Sarai told the camera.
‘This feels awkward,’ she added.

Struggling to get into position, Sarai’s boyfriend who was also acting as her photographer, had to help her mimic the position by showing her how to pose before snapping some shots.
Next up, Sarai appeared in an all-black workout look consisting of black leggings, black sports bra and and hoody wrapped around the waist to mimic a shot Kylie took of herself in a mirror.
And while she managed to take an almost identical picture, by the end of the experiment, Sarai learned being Kylie is no mean feat.
‘This video was a mess, I looked like The Grudge in that wig,’ she concluded.
‘I thought the pictures would turn out pretty good but guys, it’s way harder than it looks. This was so hard.’
