‘I paid the ultimate price, losing our baby’: WAG Candice Warner reveals she suffered a tragic miscarriage in the aftermath of husband David’s involvement in cricket scandal

Sacked vice-captain David Warner was banned for 12 months by Cricket Australia after being accused of masterminding a ploy to scuff the ball illegally in Cape Town.

Candice and David are the parents to daughters Ivy Mae, three, and Indi Rae, two, with the former Ironwoman revealing the duo were overjoyed by the thought of welcoming a third child to their growing brood.

Candice revealed the couple had been trying for their third baby since last July, and was overjoyed by a positive pregnant test when they arrived in Cape Town.

In a press conference in March, David became particularly emotional while apologising to wife Candice and the couple’s two young children for ‘putting you through this’.

At the time, Candice made it clear there was no excuse for her husband’s mistake, but noted their family had endured a tough month in South Africa.
