The 19-year-old, who is on loan from Norwich, has impressed in League One this season and is catching the eye of a host of Premier League clubs.

England Under-20 manager Paul Simpson is also understood to be considering handing the midfielder an international call-up.

Norwich will be determined to keep Godfrey, but interest from the top-flight could be too much for the teenager to resist.
