And The Bachelorette has certainly drummed up its fair share of controversy, with previous contestants revealed to have made dubious claims about their careers and openly admitting to only being on the show for fame.

Despite having no shortage of female fans Michael has also been unlucky in love, recently splitting from retail store manager Dina Pinterić and Bijanka Dobrev after short lived romances.
He also dated single mother Katrina Vincent in December 2015, however, the pair split just weeks after taking part in an interview and photoshoot with Woman’s Day.
Katrina confirmed the break up on Instagram, claiming Michael had decided he didn’t want to date someone with a child.
