President Donald Trump said Monday that he’s not paying any attention to the pot-shots fired by liberal wunderkind Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.  

Asked at the White House to respond to her claim that he’s a ‘racist,’ Trump shook his head, waved dismissively and grimaced: ‘Who cares?’

A White House pool reporter put Trump on the spot about one of his most closely watched antagonists.

‘Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez has called you a racist,’ the journalist yelled over the hum of Marine One on the South Lawn. 

‘Who did?’ Trump asked?

Ocasio-Cortez is convinced she’s getting under Trump’s skin, comparing the President of the United States to the drunken pub crawlers she once served as a bartender in New York City

‘Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez,’ came the answer.

‘Who cares?’ the president huffed in the verbal equivalent of an eye-roll, moving on to take questions about China trade negotiations and the 24-day-old partial government shutdown.

Ocasio-Cortez fired back on Twitter, telling her 2.4 million followers: ‘I bartended for *years* in New York City. I understand guys like this like the back of my hand. We got under his skin.’

The message ended with an emoji depicting tears of laughter.

The a 29-year-old freshman Demorcatic lawmaker from New York self-identifies as an economic socialist. She started the fight with Trump in a ’60 Minutes’ interview that aired January 6.  

Prompted with a question from Anderson Cooper about whether she believes Trump is a racist, she didn’t skip a beat: ‘Yeah. Yeah. No question.’

The White House fired back with a statement that the president has ‘repeatedly condemned racism and bigotry in all forms.’

By January 8, Ocasio-Cortez was laying out her case on Twitter. 

‘The President defended Neo-Nazis who murdered a woman in Charlottesville. The Dept of Justice sued him for not renting to Black tenants. He launched his campaign by calling Mexicans “rapists.” He banned Muslims,’ she wrote.

‘The President is racist. And that should make you uncomfortable.’

On Sunday, in the midst of a separate Twitter explosion about Iowa Republicanb Rep. Steve King, Ocasio-Cortez claimed that ‘I never called anyone racist, just inadequate.’
