A woman has taken to social media to take up the ‘fight’ to ‘manspreading’ by posting an image claiming a man is taking up too much of the seat.

The Sydney woman posted the image to Twitter accusing the man of hogging the two-person seat on a bus on Tuesday afternoon.

She claims she can ‘barely fit’ on the seat and nearly falls off every time the vehicle turns.

‘(Can barely sit and fall when the bus is turning) I’ve decided to fight manspreading in the bus by putting these people in the open #manspreading #bus381 #leavingbondijuctionat1350’ the disgruntled passenger wrote.

The woman received dozens of replies, with some supporting her crusade.

‘I don’t know why other men often feel the need to do this, didn’t know it had a name. Not sure the post will help but it’s definitely real and definitely annoying,’ a man agreed.

‘Instead of b***hing over FB why not ask him to move,’ one person wrote.

‘Have you tried to ask him to sit properly,’ another Facebook user asked.

‘Fighting manspreading by posting an unidentifiable photo of some guy you could have politely asked to sit differently,’ said another.
