WWE star Roman Reigns client jailed steroid distributor

Hollywood stars Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel, along with WWE’s top superstar 33-year-old Roman Reigns have been named as alleged clients of jailed steroid distributor Robert Rodriguez, who is being investigated by the DEA.

Rodriguez named the three men in an interview with filmmaker Jon Bravo and has also named them in a lawsuit filed in New York state.

Rodriquez is now in prison and with his freedom curtailed has decided to snitch on the A-list celebrities. With seemingly with nothing to lose, Rodriguez spoke freely about the people he allegedly used to supply steroids.

In a revealing telephone interview from prison, Rodriguez explained how on many occasions the famous actors would have the drugs delivered under a different name to prevent any direct identification.

The lawsuit names the men as just three of ’50 customers in the Eastern District of New York’ in a ring that made over $10 million in the distribution of illegal steroids, Forbes reports.

Rodriguez named several others along with actors Mark Wahlberg, left and Josh Duhamel

Rodriguez’s Wellness Fitness Nutrition LLC (WFN) was raided by the DEA last year following an investigation.

‘At the end I’m just trying to clear my name and just make people well aware, there is a lot more people out there that were involved and are associated with my company that many individuals did not know,’ Rodriguez said.

Rodriquez clearly states that the star of Transformers movies and former husband of singer/songwriter Fergie, Josh Duhamel, 45, was on his client list.

However he saves up the most criticism for 46-year-old Mark Wahlberg declaring him to be ‘not a good person’.

‘Our relationship worked well for a bit but then I decided to cherry-pick who I wanted to work with,’ Rodriguez said. ‘I was able to be more selective.’

Rodriguez described how Wahlberg would use the steroids to bulk up for movie roles where he would be required to put on muscles in a short space of time such as The Fighter, Transformers or Pain & Gain.

Rodriqguez alleges that the Wahlberg would order the steroids under a different name such as a doctor or a woman’s alias- even having them shipped to different addresses to avoid detection.

‘When you’re dealing with celebrities you unfortunately have to be very accommodating – and he [Wahlberg] was good person but then he started to get more demanding. Once I saw his true colors I decided to separate ties from him.’

Rodriguez also said he chose to disclose Reins as part of his plea.

Reigns, whose real name is Joseph Anoa’i , is a three-time WWE World Heavyweight champion and is a cousin to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

He had previously suspended by WWE before as a result of a wellness violation for testing positive for taking Adderall.

Reigns is supposed to be defending his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz next Monday.

So far, neither Wahldberg, Duhamel nor Reigns have commented on the allegations.

WWE has also not stated how it will handle the allegations against him.
