A young footy fan has stolen the show at the AFL grand final medal presentations after a cute exchange with a triumphant Tiger.

Young Auskick players traditionally present the winning players with their medals after the grand final, and it was no different once the Richmond Tigers sealed their first flag in 37 years at the MCG on Sunday.

Tigers forward Jack Riewoldt came forward to receive his medal from a tiny Tigers fan, who wasn’t afraid to let the towering player know what he thought of him.

‘Congratulations, you’re a legend,’ the keen youngster said in a broad Australian accent while shaking Riewoldt’s hand.

Wearing a Tigers jersey, the young fan was clearly chuffed to be able to present a medal to one of his heroes.
