This is the moment a pair of YouTube pranksters are filmed pretending to sneeze on people in a bizarre joke.

The two men startled shoppers in Beirut, Lebanon, by flicking something towards them as they made a sneezing sound effect.

Although many of the locals reacted with surprise and a little disgust it was in fact only harmless water being sent their way.

The clip begins with the two men demonstrating their prank, with one of them making an ‘achoo’ sound as he flicks water towards the other, who feigns disgust.

Among their victims in the streets of Beirut are a young man sitting outdoors with his friends, a cameraman with a tripod in the middle of a street and a young woman at an exhibition.

However the pranksters were eventually busted after they tried the prank on an undercover police officer who put a stop to the gag.

Some of the victims reacted, with one cameraman saying: ‘what’s wrong with you’?

After ‘sneezing’ on one victim who was admiring an expensive car, the prankster explains to the puzzled man that he is ‘allergic to sports cars’.

One woman looked particularly disgusted before the pranksters explained that the unknown projectile was only water.

The prankster in the more colourful black T-shirt possibly has a more convincing impression than his friend in a plain blue one.

At the end of the three-minute clip the pranksters are shown revealing the joke to some of their victims, most of whom seem to take it well.
