2018 wall calendar: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

Quite a few women have confessed to having crushes on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and not just because if his ‘perfect bottom’ and piercing blue eyes — though those certainly help.

For those women (and men), a publishing company now is putting out a 2018 wall calendar completely dedicated to pictures of the 45-year-old father-of-three, giving his admirers the chance to swoon over a new picture of him every month of the new year.

The calendar, which was first published in October, has begun to capture the attention of Twitter users — several of whom are admitting to lusting after it and adding it to their Christmas wish lists.

Swoon! A new Justin Trudeau calendar is available to buy for 2018

Actually called the ‘Justin Trudeau, My Canadian Boyfriend’ calendar, the cover features both a maple leaf and several pink and red hearts — and that grade-school-crush theme is present throughout the pages.

It plays on the old joke about a schoolgirl having a fake boyfriend who lives in another town or country, with these words running across the bottom of the January page: ‘I have a new boyfriend. You haven’t met him. His job keeps him super busy.’

February features a photo of the Prime Minister making a heart with his hands and smiling, while November has an image of him holding a puppy.

For July, they picked out a shirtless picture of the leader, taken at a weigh-in for a boxing match against Conservative Senator Patrick Brazeau in 2012.

Since images of the calendar hit Twitter earlier this month, social media users have been swooning over its contents.

‘I would probably remember more important dates with one of those,’ joked one fan. ‘I found a Justin Trudeau calendar and I want it,’ said another.

While of course not everyone is a fan — and a few of the politician’s critics have expressed disapproval for the calendar — there most certainly seems to be a market for it.

A few people even joked that Trudeau’s wife, Sophie Grégoire, might want a copy — though his children might be less than impressed.

The publisher of the calendar clearly saw the demand after several pictures of Trudeau swept the internet over the course of 2017.

In February, photos of his sitting near first daughter Ivanka Trump at a discussion about women in the workforce went viral, with social media users joking that Ivanka appeared to be mooning over Trudeau at the meeting.

In the images, Ivanka is seen watching the Canadian Prime Minister as he spoke, alternating between smiling and staring intently with parted lips.

Some rounded up other images of women staring admiringly at Trudeau, including Emma Watson and Kate Middleton, with one quipping: ‘No one is safe from PM Steal Yo Girl!’

Just weeks later, people all over the world were sent into a frenzy by a photo taken of his backside.

‘I’m lying on the couch having a sick day but Lord Jesus sent Justin Trudeau’s butt to heal me,’ joked one woman.

‘Today’s point of business — making Justin Trudeau’s perfect bottom my phone screensaver,’ wrote another.

Soon after that, photos of the politician when he was ‘young’ — mostly taken during his school days at Université de Montréal and McGill University and in his 20s — also earned thumbs up from fans.
