3 arrested after mobile meth lab is found in Walmart lot

Three people were arrested in North Carolina after police found them inside a ‘mobile meth lab’ in a Walmart parking lot.

Robert Harr, 29, Ashley Fisher, 26, and Randy Holmes Jr, 25, were arrested on Sunday after a police officer patrolling the Hope Hills, North Carolina, Walmart found drug paraphernalia in their vehicle. 

After noticing the three ‘acting suspiciously,’ the officer scanned their burgundy-colored Cadillac’s license plates, only to find out they were registered to a Ford Explorer.

After calling for backup, a second officer went up to speak with the three people in the the vehicle to determine whether or not it was stolen.

It was then the officers saw drug paraphernalia in the Cadillac’s back seat, and Harr, Fisher and Holmes were arrested.

Upon a search of the vehicle, police found empty soda bottles attached to hoses and white powdery substance inside of them, according to the Hope Hills Police Department.

A probe by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) determined that the car was a potential ‘mobile meth lab’.

Harr, Fisher, and Holmes were taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center and are being held on bonds of $80,000 to $90,000 for several drug-related felonies, including the manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine..

Holmes was also charged with a count of maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of manufacturing a controlled substance.
