Debbie was accompanied by her husband, George, and her other daughter Chelsea, who was admittedly impressed by her mother’s weight loss.

‘I am so proud of her, and everyone has been so proud of her,’ Chelsea told Today style expert Jill Martin.

‘She has been working so hard on the weight loss, and we just want her to be the perfect mother of the bride.’

Debbie was all smiles when she stepped on stage to show off her incredible new look, which included a sleek bob and an eye-catching floral blazer.

Second time was a charm for Susan, who traveled to the Today plaza last week but didn’t get picked.

This time around, Susan was accompanied by her friend Kathy, and she admitted she couldn’t wait to get a makeover right before her 55th birthday.

‘I’m here again, and I really wanted this. I’m really excited,’ she said, noting that she wants her new look to reflect the major life changes that she has made.

‘I am looking for a new normal. ‘Well, I have a new normal, so I need to look like I have a new normal,’ Susan explained.

When she stepped on stage, Susan looked like she was ready for a night on the town in a cold-shoulder top covered in black sequins.

‘What?!’ Kathy exclaimed after her friend unveiled her new look.

Susan had a similar reaction when she looked in the mirror, asking: ‘Oh my god, is this me?’

Louis explained that he made Susan’s base color warmer before adding painted highlights to give her a flattering honey-hue.

‘Oh she’s beautiful,’ Kathie said of Susan’s look.
