Weinstein accusers Ashley Judd and Salma Hayek go to award

Salma Hayek and Ashley Judd got ready together before heading to the Golden Globe Awards together.

Both women have accused disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment in the past.

Hayek posted a photo of them together on Instagram with the caption: ‘With my date @ashley_judd heading to the #GoldenGlobes, as usual we are kind of tardy, even though #TimesUp!’

The pair then arrived to the Globes and appeared on the red carpet together.

Dozens of actresses are taking part Sunday night in the Why We Wear Black movement – inspired by a movement called Time’s Up that fights against sexual harassment and assault and generally poor working conditions for women in the entertainment industries.

The modern-day movement’s beginnings can be traced to this past October, when five women spoke with the New York Times about decades-spanning abuses by Weinstein.

Judd was one of the original five women to come forward to the Times and later in October elaborated in a Good Morning America interview about her fear when she found herself inside Weinstein’s Beverly Hills hotel room back in 1996.

She said he had asked her first for a massage and later to watch her shower.

She made it out of the room without being assaulted, but just a few months later was again accosted by the predator when he grabbed her hand at an Oscars afterparty while she walked by him.

Judd also detailed the night just a few years later when she finally stood up to him at a crowded party while Barbara Walters look on after he hinted at an alleged pay-for-play trade that would provide her with a good script in exchange for sexual favors.

Hayek, meanwhile, claimed she was harassed and propositioned by Harvey Weinstein for close to a decade in a powerful op-ed published in December by the New York Times.

Hayek revealed that after years of saying no to ‘taking a shower with him,’ ‘letting him watch [her] take a shower,’ ‘letting him give [her] a massage,’ ‘letting a naked friend of his give her a massage,’ ‘letting him give [her] oral sex,’ and ‘getting naked with another woman,’ Weinstein finally found a way to corner the actress.

Weinstein even once appeared at the door of Hayek’s hotel while she was working on a film for a rival studio, the actress claimed.

After jumping through countless hoops to complete work on her dream project, the Frida Kahlo biopic Frida, Weinstein told her he would not release the picture unless there was a naked lesbian sex scene.

Hayek also details her experiences with Weinstein’s notorious temper, claiming he once told her: ‘I will kill you, don’t think I can’t.’

Neither actress is up for an award this year.
