Tom Hanks delivers drinks to his table at Golden Globes

Tom Hanks continues to show why he’s America’s favorite movie star.

The two-time Academy Award winner, 61, was snapped Sunday bringing drinks to his tablemates at the Golden Globes from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, after a glamorous walk down the red carpet with his wife, Rita Wilson.

A number of those attending picked up on the mega-star’s humble gesture, taking to Twitter to call attention to it.

‘Best thing I’ve seen here,’ said This Is Us writer Dan Fogelman‏. ‘Tom Hanks delivering a tray of martinis to his table. The best.’

MTV News correspondent Josh Horowitz noted, ‘I just witnessed Tom Hanks go to the bar to order and carry back 4 martinis on a wobbly tray by himself… he’s perfect.’

It’s not too shocking a turn for the perennial A-lister, who’s frequently made small headlines with selfless acts of warmheartedness despite his massive celebrity.

Hanks, who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role in The Post, looked dapper in a black suit with black tie, with glasses with silver frames and an orange tint.

Wilson, 61, made a fashion statement and looked amazing at one of the biggest nights of the year in entertainment.

She wore a black gown in support of the ongoing #MeToo movement amid a fashion pact made by stars following three months of allegations of sexual harassment and abuse against many powerful men in the industry, triggered by allegations made against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

Wilson’s slinky long-sleeved gown included blue, purple and silver stitching to resemble fireworks – perfect for a night figures such as Weinstein and President Donald Trump were sure to provoke explosive sentiments from those in attendance.

Wilson, who celebrates her 30th anniversary with Hanks in March, had her dark blonde locks parted and down, and accessorized with earrings and a diamond necklace.

The Saving Private Ryan actor received a shout-out during host Seth Meyers’ monologue, as he encouraged a presidential campaign with Oprah and Tom Hanks on the ticket.

Meyers said: ‘Oprah… in 2011 I told some jokes about our current president at the White House Correspondents Dinner – jokes about how he was unqualified to be president, and some say that night convinced him to run – and if that’s true I want to say, Oprah, you will never be president! You do not have what it takes to be president.’

He then told Hanks: ‘You will never be vice president! You are too mean and unrelatable!’
