Trump Tower on FIRE, firefighters trying to put out blaze

Trump Tower caught fire on Monday morning, with emergency responders rushing to the scene at around 7am in midtown Manhattan.

Firefighters could be seen on the roof of the building as large clouds of smoke covered the midtown skyline.

The fire was caused by an electrical box on the roof of the building according to an FDNY spokesperson, who revealed that firefighters are on the scene along with members of the NYPD.

President Trump lives on the top three floors of the building, but has been in Washington DC since he took office last January.

No residents were evacuated from the building and there are no reports of injuries at this time.
