Bloodied man knocks on doors after ‘friend stabbed him’

A bloodied man has stumbled from door to door looking for help after allegedly being stabbed and slashed by a friend.

Blood was left smeared on several front doors in Henley Grove, in northeastern Perth, but no one let the alleged victim in as the accused was right behind him.

Police said the pair were on a crabbing trip when they got lost and a fight broke out about 7pm on Sunday.

The 41-year-old was then allegedly stabbed multiple times during an hour-long fight, in which stumbled from house to house asking for help, Seven News reported.

Unable to seek refuge inside a home, the man then locked himself in a car but his friend allegedly smashed a window with a concrete slab and tried to stab him again.

Local resident Anna Lazzara said the man knocked on her door but she did not know how badly injured he was.

‘I didn’t realise he was bleeding, he was just screaming, “help, help I’m being stabbed”,’ she said.
