She’s just became engaged to fiancee and Bachelor star, Alex Nation.
And Maegan Luxa is quickly slipping into step mother duties, taking Alex’s son Elijah, seven, swimming this week.
In a sweet post, chef Maegan said she was excited to ‘hang out’ with Elijah.

‘Pretty damn excited to hang out with this little homie today,’ Maegan wrote.
Alex, 26, wrote in the comments: ‘That face.’
And it seems the pair are spending plenty of time together, for on Thursday Maegan also shared an Instagram story featuring Elijah sitting in a box.
She captioned the video: ‘Box fort babyyyyy.’

In late 2017, Alex dramatically split with Richie Strahan, 32, whom she met on the 2016 season of The Bachelor.
However it’s believed the pair parted ways several months prior – the date remaining a mystery.
Rather than announcing her breakup, Alex shocked the nation by debuting a same-sex relationship in August.

The single mother had fallen head-over-heels for her Frankston Bombers teammate Maegan, 31, announcing their surprise engagement in December.
Alex recently reflected on 2017, saying she reached ‘the lowest of lows’.
‘I’m going to be straight up and say in 2017, I didn’t always get it right,’ the post on Instagram began.
‘It presented itself with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. It dealt me cards that I wasn’t expecting. It was honestly one of the most challenging years of my life.’

Alex said she was filled with ‘a concoction of emotions.’
‘I’m both overwhelmed and elated. Whilst I was faced with many challenges and inner turmoils, my journey for self love and inner peace continued and with this the self growth was immense,’ she wrote.
She added how much she wanted 2018 to begin.
‘A lot of doors opened for me in 2017 and sadly some had to close. But just because one door closes and another opens, it doesn’t mean I forget what was and what has lead me to this very moment. I’m thankful for what has been and what is yet to come. Hey 2018, I’m dying to get to know you.’
