But Candice Brown and fiance Liam Macaulay brushed off the drama as they attended the OVO by Cirque Cirque du Soleil launch at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday night.
The 33-year-old reality star and her boyfriend of six years looked stronger than ever as they enjoyed a date night at the spectacle, which attracted a star-studded crowd.

The baking champ completed the look with her signature red lipstick and swept her brunette tresses into an elegant updo.

Complementing his wife-to-be’s style, Liam sported a checked jacket, paired with a black roll neck and jeans.
Their extravagant date night comes just months after the Scot popped the question in the car park of the restaurant they had their first date.
Sharing the news with HELLO! magazine in a new engagement shoot, the gorgeous baker said she was ‘feeling very lucky’ following an ‘amazing’ year.

However, just days after announcing their engagement joy, Candice raised eyebrows when she was spotted sharing a farewell kiss with Paul Hollywood, with whom she worked closely on The Great British Bake Off.
Despite sending the rumour mill into overdrive, the pair both laughed off claims the moment was anything more than a friendly peck, with Candice writing on Twitter:
Candice tweeted first, writing: ‘So invisibility cloaks are real. I was so sure you were there all night too!!
‘No kisses or hugs hello or goodbye from now on- handshakes or waves only!’
Paul replied: ‘Incredible!’, while broadcaster Shelagh Fogarty – who was also sat the pair’s table – quipped: ‘I think maybe saluting eachother is the way to go?!’

Shortly afterwards, Paul announced his split from his wife of 20 years Alexandra but Candice dismissed any speculation of a budding romance.
She told The Sun at the time: ‘It’s absolutely not for me to say anything.’
And the reality star found herself the subject of yet more controversy over the weekend, when she shocked viewers by kissing Dancing On Ice skating partner Matt Evers at the end of their performance.
Candice lashed out at claims she kissed Matt in a Twitter snap, which saw her pose between the skating pro and her fiance.
She captioned the pouting snap: ”Snogging’ my two favourite boys @Dennisthepug @TheMattEvers Thank you for being my left and right.’
