Bluey themed Christmas decorations are fast becoming the ‘must-have’ festive buy after parents spotted them on sale in Big W this week.

One eagle-eyed shopper first saw the decorations in a Big W store in Toowoomba and shared the news to popular Facebook group Christmas Mums Australia.

Bluey fans have since been trawling shopping threads in a bid to find the cartoon-inspired decor for themselves but coming up empty handed.

‘I was going to go but my store isn’t showing stock,’ one disappointed mum wrote.

Big W’s online store shows a selection of festive Bluey decorations, ranging in price from $7 to $35.

The decorations include a 4 pack of tree ornaments for $35 which feature figurines of Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Bluey’s house. 

Individual ornaments are also available, for example an ornament of Bluey and Bingo can be purchased for $7. A pack of six Bluey themed baubles are available for $25.

The online shop reveals in store availability is very low, the six pack of Bluey baubles can only be purchased in two of 20 stores in Sydney.

Bluey was banned in the US for one weird reason 

An episode of Bluey was banned from playing in the US on Disney +

The episode was deemed ‘inappropriate’ because one of the cartoon dogs farted 

However the ban was revaluated and lifted 

‘Big W Clifford Gardens, Toowoomba,’ the woman who shared the first post about the Bluey decorations said.

‘They also had a space for the advent calendar that everyone had canceled.’

Bluey fans went into a frenzy after seeing the post. 

 ‘OMG! I need some!’ one woman said.

‘This needs to be on the Christmas tree for sure!’ another commented.

Shoppers flocked to their local Big W stores, but were disappointed with their findings.

‘They didn’t have Bluey when I was there,’ one woman said.

‘Not in WA when I last checked, hopefully soon,’ another said.

The online store also showed many peoples stores were out of stock.

‘I was going to go but my store isn’t showing stock,’ one disappointed shopper said.

Although these Christmas decorations may be hard to get, some people are taking the problem into their own hands and getting crafty.

One woman made her own Bluey Christmas decorations out of plywood. She first drew her design on the board, then cut the figures out and painted them.

She uploaded her crafty creation to TikTok, captioning it ‘have a very Bluey Christmas.’
