Rob Mills reveals the real reason why he now refuses to discuss his infamous fling with Paris Hilton

Rob Mills has revealed why he doesn’t want to talk about his fling with Paris Hilton anymore.

Paris infamously had a brief fling with Rob in 2003, shortly after he rose to fame on the first series of Australian Idol.

The 40-year-old actor said on the Life Uncut podcast, discussing his relationship with the American socialite is ‘disrespectful to her, me and my fiancée (Georgie Tunny)’.

‘For some people they are just remembered for one thing but I have a lot more to offer,’ Rob said.

He continued: ‘It’s always brought up and it’s disrespectful for her, disrespectful for me and it’s disrespectful for my fiancée.’

The actor went on to say being asked questions about his relationship is ‘intrusive’.

‘It’s so intrusive. I was always a little bit over it. It’s two weeks in my 40 year life… why is it a thing,’ he added.

Meanwhile, Paris previously blanked a question about Rob, responding ‘who?’ when asked about the fling on The Project in 2016.

Earlier that year, Rob claimed he kept in touch with Paris for a year after their brief romance during an appearance on 2Day FM’s Rove And Sam.

‘For about a year we did and then that was it. We caught up the next time she was (in Australia),’ he said.

They first met at an event at Sydney Opera House before heading to an after-party hosted by Osher Günsberg.

Afterwards, they spent the night at Paris’s hotel before meeting up again shortly after the Melbourne Cup.

‘We did pretty much everything but (sex) and then we caught up at the races a week after,’ he told The Sydney Morning Herald.
