Bristol Palin undergoes NINTH breast reconstruction surgery to fix ‘botched’ reduction she had at 19

Palin revealed in January 2023 that she underwent her ninth breast construction surgery to fix the boxed reduction 

Palin underwent her ninth breast reconstruction surgery in January 2023, over a decade after she had the original procedure.

She explained in her Instagram Stories that she had a botched breast reduction when she was 19 years old that left her with ‘damaged muscle tissue and terrible scaring.’ 

Palin turned 19 in October 2009, and the surgery likely took place sometime before she competed on 11th season of Dancing With the Stars, which premiered in September 2010. 

Jaw surgery (2011)

Palin shocked the world when she unveiled a thinner face complete with higher cheekbones and a newly-defined chin and jawline in May 2011. 

She claimed her new look was the result of ‘corrective jaw surgery’ in December 2010.  

‘Yes, it improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons…so my jaw and teeth could properly realign…I don’t obsess over my face,’ she told Us Weekly at the time. 

Tummy tuck (2018)

The mother of three underwent a tummy tuck in 2018, around the time she split from her ex-husband, Dakota Meyer.

‘I post what I want y’all to see. From decent angles, and not from insecurities and scars (visible or not),’ she wrote. ‘Here’s something I don’t share. The scar from the tummy tuck I had years ago.’ 

Porcelain veneers and gum lift (2018)

Palin also got porcelain veneers and a gum lift during her ‘smile makeover’ with Dr. Bret Davis, a cosmetic dentist at Smile Texas in Houston.

Veneers are custom-made shells of tooth-colored porcelain or composite that are cemented over the surface of teeth to correct certain dental issues.

Traditional porcelain veneers like the ones Palin got can cost between $925 and $2,500 per tooth and last 10 to 15 years.
