Hallmark Stars Patti Murin and Colin Donnell welcome their second daughter and reveal her name

Hallmark Stars Patti Murin and Colin Donnell have become parents for the second time.

The 42-year-old Broadway star and the 40-year-old Arrow actor shared the good news on Instagram with a few candid snaps, after welcoming their second daughter earlier this month.

Patti – who announced that she was expecting a second child in October – posted a photo of the happy family from her hospital bed, revealing the little ones adorable name, which might have been inspired by a Gilmore Girls character.

‘Welcome to our sweet, sweet Lorelai Grace Donnell,’ Patti wrote. ‘She was born April 2nd, and was welcomed so lovingly by her big sister Cecily.’

‘We are over the moon, feeling great, and we also nap a lot. Love love love ♥️’ she added.

The couple are also parents to daughter, Cecily, who is almost three.

Colin also wrote on his own Instagram, ‘We welcomed Cecily’s (and Petey & Milo’s) younger sister Lorelai Grace into our lives this past week.’

‘I’ve got a very full heart and there’ve been a lot of happy tears. The biggest thank you to @pattimurin for these beautiful gifts.’

Patti showed off her new mom glow in the snaps without any makeup, and flashed a bright smile while enjoying being a mom-of-two.

In another Instagram post Patti hilariously likened her newborn to actor Andy Samberg, with a side by side face comparison.

‘Observations from one full week of parenting two children,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘I’ve cried way more over my toddler and her feelings than I have the newborn. Finding Nemo is an absolutely traumatizing film and no postpartum parent should be exposed to it in any way shape or form. My baby looks like Andy Samberg [shrugging emoji.]’

Meanwhile Donnell told People of becoming a girl dad once again: ‘I really like being a girl dad. I grew up with all boys in my family, I’m one of three boys, and of course, it would’ve been ecstatic to have a boy but, I don’t know — I think I figured out this girl dad thing by now. So I’m ready to have another girl around the house. I just love it. It’s so, so sweet.’
